Stride is a dating app for active individuals. We utilize Strava solely for user authentication and, optionally, to link to your Strava profile upon matching. This approach allows you to connect with others who share similar sports interests without sharing specific activity data within the app.

Stride integrates with Strava's API for authentication purposes but is neither endorsed by nor affiliated with Strava, Inc. We do not access or display your Strava activity data within the Stride app.​

Data We Collect
We do not collect or store any Strava activity data. Our integration with Strava is limited to authentication and, optionally, linking to your Strava profile upon matching. We do not share or sell any user data to third parties.

How We Store & Protect Your Data
We store your authentication credentials securely and employ encryption where feasible. Regular reviews of our security practices are conducted to protect your personal information from unauthorized access.

Your Control Over Strava Data
You can revoke Stride's access to your Strava account at any time via your Strava settings (under "My Apps"). Once revoked, your authentication link will be removed from our servers within two days. You can also contact us at to request data deletion at any time.

User Responsibilities & Account Control

Accuracy of Your Data
Any data that appears on your Stride profile is what you have manually entered or approved. If something looks off, please update your profile settings or contact us.

Community Guidelines
We aim to maintain a positive, respectful environment on Stride. Any harassment, hate speech, or other violations of our guidelines may result in account suspension.​

Event Suggestions
Stride may suggest local running clubs or other athletic meetups. These are optional. We encourage you to always prioritize your safety and well-being.

Troubleshooting

Login/Strava Connection Issues
Ensure you have a stable internet connection and the latest version of our app. Double-check that you’re granting permission to Stride in your Strava account settings.

Profile Sync Delays
Since we do not sync Strava activity data, profile sync delays should not occur. If you experience issues, please contact us.
